PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indoor unit of an air conditioner allowing application of a propeller fan, with reduced ventilation resistance, and suitable for a large space. SOLUTION: The indoor unit comprises at least one of propeller fans 108a, 108b stored in a casing and arranged to horizontally direct the rotation shaft, a motor 109 for rotating/driving the propeller fans 108, heat exchangers 107a, 107b installed on both side surfaces of a space arranged with the propeller fans 108, suction ports 111a, 111b formed on both side walls of the casing, and outlet ports 110a, 110b formed on a wall of the casing facing to the outlet side of the propeller fans 108. As enlargement of a heat-exchanging area can reduce the ventilation resistance, the indoor unit 101 which the propeller fans 108a, 108b are applied to and is suitable for the large space can be provided.
