PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire exhibiting low-heat build-up properties and excellent steering stability, with a tread composed of a rubber composition suitable for a tread rubber member that exhibits enhanced dispersibility of silica therein, does not cause viscosity increase of an unvulcanized rubber, and is improved in all of abrasion resistance, the low-heat build-up properties and a storage modulus without detriment to processability. SOLUTION: The tire is obtained using a rubber composition that comprises, based on (a) 100 pts.mass of a rubber component comprising a natural rubber and/or a diene synthetic rubber, (b) 20-150 pts.mass of hydrous silicic acid having a cetyltrimethyl ammonium bromide adsorption specific surface area (CTAB) (m<SP>2</SP>/g) and a mode value A<SB>ac</SB>(nm) of a diameter of a primary aggregate as measured by an acoustic particle size distribution measurement satisfying the relation of equation (I) A<SB>ac</SB>≥-0.76×(CTAB)+274 (I), and (c) 1-10 pts.mass of a compound bearing at least one group A reactive with the rubber (a) and at least two groups B adsorbing to structural silica (b) composed of the hydrous silicic acid in the same molecule.
