PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple necktie designed so that the length of an apron is extremely easily adjusted and a wearer is allowed to make a knot repeatedly any number of times. SOLUTION: The simple necktie includes: a neck string 12 passed through the under side of a collar to be attached to its neckline; a necktie body 11 doubled up backward and forward at a desired position and held on the neck string; and a knot cloth 13 for making a knot at the upper part of the doubled-up necktie body 11. When making the knot on the necktie body 11, a fixing ring 15 for the knot cloth 13 is fitted on the necktie body 11 at a slightly lower side than the neck string 12, the knot cloth 13 is put backward and folded back forward from above the neck string 12 to be overlapped on the front side upper part of the necktie body 11, the right and left corner parts at the bottom of the knot cloth 13 are inserted under the neck string 12, folded backward from both sides of the necktie body 11, and fixed up via fixing means 16, 17.
