Measurement of an object by applying a terahertz wave can be prevented from being adversely affected by refraction of the terahertz wave from the object to be measured. A housing (10) accommodates at least a part of an object (1) to be measured by a terahertz wave measuring device. The housing (10) includes a hollow portion (11) in which at least the part of the object (1) to be measured is disposed and an encircling portion (12) having a first curved portion (S1) and a second curved portion (S2) between which the hollow portion (11) is disposed and encircling the hollow portion (11). Furthermore, n1 < n2 is satisfied when the refractive index of the encircling portion is defined as n2 and that of the object to be measured is defined as n1. In addition, the first curved portion (S1) and the second curved portion (S2) are both convexed.
