METHOD FOR STORING OR TRANSPORTING COMPOSITION CONTAINING DIIMONIUM DYE

A method in which a composition containing a diimonium dye is stored or transported in the state of being placed in a hollow object for storage or in a hollow object for transportation. The method comprises the step of preparing the hollow object (2) for storage or the hollow object (2) for transportation and the step of placing the diimonium-dye-containing composition in the hollow object (2) for storage or the hollow object (2) for transportation. The material of the inner surface of the hollow object (2) for storage or hollow object (2) for transportation is a nonmetal or stainless steel. The diimonium-dye-containing composition comprises a dispersion (A) obtained by dispersing a diimonium dye in a solvent (D). Preferably, the solubility (Y) of the diimonium dye in the solvent (D) is less than 5 mass%. With respect to a liquid mixture obtained by mixing the diimonium dye with the solvent (D) in an amount of 0.01 mass% of the solvent (D), the supernatant preferably has an absorbance (X), as measured by a given method, of 0.5 or less.
