<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide high concentration fibroin gel having concentration of ≥10 wt.%, having excellent compatibility with human tissue and exhibiting characteristic features of silk protein comprising high moisture retention, adhesiveness and spreadability. <P>SOLUTION: The high concentration fibroin gel creating nonconventional characteristic features of silk protein can be produced from high concentration amorphous fibroin gel without using chemical substances and long-time treatment to cause denaturation of proteins.
