<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preparing a diaryl carbonate and/or an alkylaryl carbonate from a dialkyl carbonate and an aromatic hydroxy compound. <P>SOLUTION: The method for preparing a diaryl carbonate and/or an alkylaryl carbonate uses a reactive distillation tower which supplies a flow 21 including the aromatic hydroxy compound and a flow 22 including the dialkyl carbonate to a supply side (Z) and discharges one or more kinds of intermediate-boiling-point fraction optionally including a reactant and/or a reaction product and being in a gas or liquid state from a discharge side (E). In the reactive distillation tower, a reactive separating wall tower is used for preventing the transverse mixing of a liquid flow and/or a vapor flow in the direction of the supply side (Z) with a reaction region located therein and the discharge side (E) by using a separation device (T). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
