<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate a vehicle moving back on an uphill road when the vehicle nearly stops on the uphill road. <P>SOLUTION: When the shift position is R during reverse travel on the uphill road, a lower limit torque Tlim is output from a second motor. When the vehicle is almost stopped, torque reduction increase control is executed to repeat reduction (increase as an absolute value) to the lower limit torque Tlim after increase (reduction as the absolute value) of a torque from the second motor until a predetermined release condition, including a condition that a vehicle speed V becomes not more than a value obtained by multiplying a stop determination vehicle speed Vref by -1, is satisfied (S220-S320). A corresponding torque is applied to a ring gear shaft as a driving axle by engine motoring by a target torque Tm1tg from a motor MG1 in the optimal timing tmg when the torque from the second motor reaches the lower limit torque Tlim during the torque reduction increase control of the second motor (S190, S200, S330, S340). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
