PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus capable of clearly printing character information or the like on the surface of a hand towel, suppressing blurring in a printed area, improving the sanitary property, and being more conveniently used.

SOLUTION: The hand-towel original fabric manufacturing apparatus includes: a hand-towel non-woven fabric made of recycled fiber; a master roll for feeding out the hand-towel non-woven fabric; a conveying means for feeding the hand-towel non-woven fabric; and a printing means for printing in a UV hardened ink on the whole or part of the flat plane of the hand-towel non-woven fabric. The hand-towel original fabric manufacturing apparatus further includes a storing part for storing the hand-towel original fabric; a feeding means for feeding the hand-towel original fabric from the storing part; a cutting means for cutting the fed hand-towel original fabric at a prescribed length position; a humidifying means for applying moisture to the cut hand-towel material; and a discharge means for discharging the cut hand-towel material.
