<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera minimizing power consumption in an illuminator when red-eye phenomenon reducing light emission and monitoring light emission are continuously performed. <P>SOLUTION: The camera (10) transmits and receives various signals between the illuminator (20) and the camera, and is provided with: an auxiliary light control means (14) allowing the illuminator (20) to emit red-eye phenomenon reducing auxiliary light before normal light emission of the illuminator (20), and also to emit at least a part of emitted light of auxiliary light as monitoring auxiliary light for measuring reflectance of a subject; a normal emitted light quantity calculation means (14) calculating normal emitted light quantity based on reflected light from a subject irradiated with the monitoring auxiliary light; and a normal light emission control means (14) allowing the illuminator (20) to perform normal light emission, based on the normal emitted light quantity calculated by the normal emitted light quantity calculation means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
