<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a service providing device, a service providing method, a biometric information authentication server, a biometric information authentication method, a program, and a service providing system for performing an authentication process in a shorter time without putting a burden on a server that performs the authentication process. <P>SOLUTION: The service providing device includes a biometric information extraction unit for extracting biometric information from biometric image data, an authentication request unit for transmitting the biometric information extracted by the biometric information extraction unit and collation order information, which is information relating to an order of collating registered biometric information registered in advance with the biometric information at a time of authentication of the biometric information, to a biometric authentication server to request the authentication of the extracted biometric information, and a service providing unit for providing a specific service to a user according to an authentication result for the biometric information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
