PRODUCTION PLANNING SUPPORT SYSTEM AND SUPPORT METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a production planning support system that swiftly detects variation in demand of products and variation in actual production and supports so as to allow the latest production planning on every occasion in a short time period.

SOLUTION: The system includes: a demand prediction comparison processor 204 that compares variation in demand using input of a demand prediction 309 at the time of creation of production plan in operation and a present demand prediction 208; an actual production comparison processor 205 that compares production plan fulfillment situations on the basis of a production plan 310 in operation and an actual production 209; an influence range detection processor 206 that detects a factory and a step susceptible to an influence from results of the demand prediction comparison processor 204 and the actual production comparison processor 205; and a production planning instruction unit 207 that instructs entire production planning apparatuses to create production plans of the factory and the step detected in the influence range detection processor 206.
