发明名称 METHOD AND DEVICE FOR DRIVING COMPACT MATRIX LIGHT-EMITTING PANEL BLOCK
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: in driving a matrix light-emitting panel block divided into a plurality of portions, connecting drive circuits for the respective panel blocks by serial communication of one line or one system can reduce greatly the number of connections between the blocks but may largely increase the communication speed required for a serial communication channel, and thereby the drive circuit for the respective blocks can be large and complicated in order to process the reception of the increased communication speed. SOLUTION: A method for driving a small matrix light-emitting panel block can make each communication storage gradation control part work with a commercial compact microcomputer and greatly reduce the size of a drive circuit portion by: distributing, in parallel with and in synchronization with a plurality of communication storage gradation control parts of each block, the display information divided according to the distribution information of each block and the whole synchronization information in the different serial communication channel for every block; and performing reception/storage/gradation process in parallel at each communication storage gradation control part.
