PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a camera module, easily adjusting a focus position without worsening a design. SOLUTION: The focus position is adjusted, by inserting the head of a lens holder 13 holding a lens 15 and having a male screw part formed on an outer peripheral surface around an optical axis of the lens 15, into an opening 51 formed in the center part of a plate type focus adjusting ring 7, engaging a flat surface formed on at least a part of an inner peripheral surface of the opening 51 of the focus adjusting ring 7 with a flat surface formed on at least a part of an outer periphery of the head 38 of the lens holder 13, rotating the lens holder 13 around the optical axis of the lens 15 by rotation of the focus adjusting ring 7, and screwing the male screw part of the lens holder 13 in a female screw part formed in a supporting body 14.
