PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide toner which is able to obtain high quality image prints without fogging, even when printing many sheets, without shifting images, even if fixing by a fixing method using a fixing unit constituted of a heating belt and a pressing belt, and without toner slipping through, even when cleaning by a cleaning blade system. SOLUTION: In the toner used in an image forming method, including at least a blade cleaning step, and an image fixing step using a fixing unit composed of a heating belt and a pressing belt, the toner consists of toner particles and resin particles; and the circularity of the toner particles is 0.93-0.99; the median size (D<SB>50</SB>) is 3.0-8.0μm on the number basis; the circularity of this resin particles is 0.70-0.92; the median size (D<SB>50</SB>) of this resin particles on the number basis is 0.15 to 0.60 times the median size (D<SB>50</SB>) of the toner particles on the number basis; and the surface energy of this resin particles is smaller than the surface energy of the toner particles.
