PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas measuring instrument for measuring the exhaustion mass of N<SB>2</SB>O in exhaust gas with higher precision. SOLUTION: The exhaust gas measuring instrument 10 includes an air purifier 13 for taking in air 11A in the atmosphere to purify the same and sending the purified air 12 as dilution air. The air purifier 13 includes a heating part 16 for heating the taken-in air 11A, a catalyst part 18 equipped with a catalyst 17 for removing the measuring target component in the heated air 11C, a temperature adjusting part 19 capable of cooling or heating the heated air 11C to adjust the temperature thereof, an adsorption part 21 provided with an adsorbing material 20 for adsorbing at least N<SB>2</SB>O in the cooled air 11D to remove the same and a heat exchange part 22 performing the heat exchange of the taken-in air 11A and the air 11 heated in the heating part 16.
