PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent adhesive composition having excellent exudation resistance nearly free from exudation, having high transmittance in a region of≤500 nm wavelength, a low elastic modulus, and excellent crack resistance, adhesiveness and heat resistance. SOLUTION: In the transparent adhesive composition containing an epoxy resin (1) having a bi- or more-functional group, a high molecular weight component (2) which is an acrylic random copolymer including a functional group, including≤1 mass% copolymerization component including a nitrogen-containing characteristic group and 20 to 50 mass% methyl methacrylate and/or ethyl methacrylate and having≥-10°C glass transition temperature and a weight-average molecular weight of 100,000 or more and a phenol resin (3) having two or more hydroxy groups in its molecule, where 2.5 to 47.5 pts.mass epoxy resin (1) and 2.5 to 47.5 pts.mass phenol resin (3) are contained to 100 pts.mass high molecular weight component (2) and total of the epoxy resin (1) and the phenol resin (3) is in the range of 5 to 50 pts.mass.
