When a rapid feed or a rapid return is instructed by operation of the operation amount detection device from the remote controller (2) while a dynamic image content is reproduced, thumbnail images of a plurality of scenes selected at a predetermined time interval around the reproduction moment are superimposed for display on the reproduction image of the display device (3) and the thumbnail images are updated for display at a predetermined update interval to perform a rapid feed or a rapid return display. The operation amount of the operation amount detection device decides the predetermined time interval and the update interval.</p>
