INTERFACE DEVICE AND OPERATING METHOD OF THE SAME

PURPOSE: An interface device and an operating method of the same are provided to recognize the size of an operation, the direction of the operation, and the duration of the operation from a vector obtained by directly processing an accelerated signal. CONSTITUTION: An accelerometer(110) outputs an acceleration signal about a first coordinate axis. A controller(300) detects a start point and end point of an operation from the acceleration signal. The controller extracts the feature points among the acceleration signal between the start point and the end point. The controller produces the vector which indicates the operation by the correlation of feature points. The controller recognizes the operation information about the first coordinate axis from the vector.
