PURPOSE: An apparatus for transmitting a PCI(Peripheral Component Interconnect) express signal and an image forming apparatus using the same are provided to transmit a fast signal using an inexpensive cable. CONSTITUTION: More than one unit board(200) is connected to a controller board(100) through a differential signal transmission cable using a PCI express protocol. The unit board transmits and receives data. The controller board comprises a first differential signal connector which is connected to one end of the differential signal transmission cable. The unit board comprises a second differential signal connector which is connected to the other end of the differential signal transmission cable.
