<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an instrument counter counting instruments based on length of each instrument to be used in surgery, and presenting whether or not the instruments runs short to a user when the number of instruments after the surgery is different from that before the surgery. <P>SOLUTION: The instrument counter is provided with: a storage part 1 which records the number of instruments carried in an operating room by every length; a sorting part 2 which sorts the dropped instruments by every length; a totaling part 3 which totals the sorted instruments by every length; and a confirmation part 4 which collates a result totaled by the totaling part 3 with a record of the storage part 1 to confirm presence/absence of shortage of the instruments. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
