<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control charging regeneration during the deceleration fuel cut of a hybrid vehicle so as to be capable of improving the fuel consumption more efficiently. <P>SOLUTION: When validity/invalidity of charging during deceleration fuel cut is to be determined, and when fuel cut is started, the fuel quantity conversion value of electrical energy to be obtained, by performing charging and fuel consumption relatively increasing due to the fact that a fuel cut period becomes short by performing charging are predictively calculating and comparing; then if the former is larger than the latter, regenerative charging is performed; and otherwise, the regenerative charging is not performed. Consequently, it is possible to effectively improve fuel consumption, by preliminarily determining the case that fuel consumption improvement is expected and by performing charging, in charging control, when deceleration fuel cut is to be performed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
