<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To consistently fasten a side cover to be press-opened by the inflation pressure of an airbag in a closed position state in the initial state before deployment of the airbag. <P>SOLUTION: In a side part of a seatback 1 with an airbag device 10 being furnished therein, a storage space 3a for storing the airbag device 10 is covered from the outer side by a plate-like side cover 3. The side cover 3 is held in a positional state that a deployment path of an airbag 11 is closed by a locking mechanism (a mechanism in which a hook member 4 is attached to an attaching unit 7b) which is provided between a seatback body 2 and the side cover and capable of repeatedly lockable in an initial condition before the airbag 11 is inflated and deployed. The side cover 3 is opened so as to open the deployment path of the airbag 11 while being pressed by the inflation pressure of the airbag 11 by the hook member 4 under the operation of being pressed by the inflation pressure of the airbag 11 and detached from the attached state to the attaching unit 7b by the inflation and deployment of the airbag 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
