<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projection type video display for preventing a user from approaching the chassis of the projection type video display while light is emitted from a solid light source, since it is undesirable that the user approaches the chassis thereof in such a state that the light is emitted from the solid light source in a case where a laser beam source is used as the solid light source. <P>SOLUTION: The projection type video display 100 includes the chassis 200 that houses a light source unit 110, a color separation/synthesis unit 140 for modulating the light emitted from the light source, and a projection unit 150 for projecting the light emitted from the color separation/synthesis unit 140 onto a projection surface 300. The projection type video display further includes: a first interface 190A provided to a first side surface-side sidewall 250 and displaying detailed information on errors caused within the chassis; and a second interface 190B provided to a front surface-side sidewall 220 and displaying the levels of the errors caused within the chassis. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
