PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe improved soil with no hydrogen sulfide gas generated by treating mud having a high water content ratio with a material produced from waste gypsum board, and to provide a manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The improved soil contains the mud having a high water content ratio, a hemihydrate gypsum powder prepared by crushing and then drying gypsum of the waste gypsum board, a fibrous material, a solidification material and a substance to adsorb hydrogen sulfide such as an iron material. The solidification material whose whole property is set at least at pH 11 where SRB virus hardly grows, suppresses the flowing out of sulfate radicals caused by dissolving of the gypsum, suppresses the movement of SRB virus by decrease of permeability caused by a curing reaction and suppresses generation of hydrogen sulfide. Even when hydrogen sulfide is generated, it is adsorbed by a hydrogen sulfide-adsorbate. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
