PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for measurement of trolley wire, capable of preventing deterioration in measurement accuracy due to a measurement region sensor. SOLUTION: In the device for measurement of trolley wire including the measurement region sensor 2 installed on a roof of a vehicle 1 and a calculation device 3 installed inside the vehicle 1, an installation angle of the measurement region sensor 2 is set so that a scan plane of the same includes an inclination angle relative to a surface orthogonal to the traveling direction of the vehicle 1. The calculation device 3 includes: a control part 31 operating the measurement region sensor 2; a detection range extraction part 33 extracting only the measurement object within a preset detection range after subjecting the position of the measurement object measured by the measurement region sensor 2 into orthogonal coordinates to obtain the coordinates of the same; a trolley wire coordinate detection part 35 detecting trolley wire candidate coordinates from the coordinates of the plurality of measurement objects detected by one-time scanning by the measurement region sensor 2; and a log output part 37 outputting the trolley wire coordinates with a specific format.
