摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the force applied to a steering system by moving a rack housing in the vehicle width direction when a wheel is brought into contact with a curb. SOLUTION: Fluid chambers 46RR, 46RL, 46LR, 46LL are provided inside rack housing bushes 12R, 12L. The fluid chambers 46RR, 46LR are connected to an accumulator 52 via pipes 14RR, 14LR, respectively. The fluid chambers 46RL, 46LL are connected to an accumulator 54 via pipes 14RL, 14LL, respectively. When it is determined that a wheel is brought into contact with a curb, solenoid valves 28 and 30 are opened to permit flow-in and flow-out of fluid between each fluid chamber 46 and the accumulators 52, 54, and the rack housing can be moved in the vehicle width direction with respect to a vehicle.
