<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a to-be-transferred object length measuring device capable of accurately measuring size (length) of a to-be-transferred object even if a feeding roller deviates or the roller diameter changes due to thermal expansion, and to provide an image forming device using the same, and a computer program. <P>SOLUTION: The to-be-transferred object length measuring device includes: a first rotating body 17 for feeding the to-be-transferred object 90; a passage detecting means 25 for detecting a passage of the to-be-transferred object through a predetermined position of a to-be-transferred object feeding path; a rotation amount measuring means for measuring the rotation amount of the first rotating body in a first measurement period; second rotating bodies 15 and 16 for feeding the to-be-transferred object after completing feeding of the to-be-transferred object by the first rotating body; a speed detecting means for detecting at least the feeding speed of the to-be-transferred object in a second measurement period; and a calculation means for calculating the length of the to-be-transferred object based on the rotation amount in the first measurement period, the feeding distance, and the feeding speed in the second measurement period. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
