NEW VEHICLE PLAN REVIEW SUPPORT METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new vehicle plan review support method having an advantage in performing review and evaluation of a new vehicle in short time in an initial concept stage while sharing platforms and components configuring an existing vehicle in establishing a vehicle model for new vehicle plan review. SOLUTION: The model for new vehicle plan review is built by deforming an outline image of a basic vehicle model displayed on a screen based on a user's operation with satisfying constraints and by deforming the basic vehicle model in conjunction with the deformation of the outline image. The constraints include a first condition to set a fixed platform component fixing the outline diameter among the plurality of platform components and a deformation platform component whose outline diameter varies in conjunction with the deformation of the basic vehicle model and to offset effect to the platform of the existing vehicle by the deformation of the basic vehicle model by the deformation platform component.
