PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a feed-forward type distortion compensation amplifier where an overload does not occur for its power supply. SOLUTION: The distortion compensation amplifier includes a main amplifier (17), detection loops (14, 15, 16, 17, 18, and 19), and removing loops (18, 20, 21, 22, 23, and 24). The main amplifier amplifies a high frequency signal and outputs an amplified signal. The detection loops detects a distortion component in the amplified signal output from the main amplifier. The removing loops removes the distortion component detected by the detection loops from the amplified signal. In addition, the distortion compensation amplifier includes a vector adjuster prepared at the detection loops. The vector adjuster changes a movable range for a variable attenuator in the vector adjuster, according to the level of the high frequency signal. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
