AIRBAG DEVICE

Disclosed is an airbag device comprised of an inflator which supplies gas if an emergency arises in a vehicle; and a curtain airbag which is to be expanded by gas introduced from the inflator. The curtain airbag has an airbag body obtained by suturing a pair of foundation clothes. The portion of the airbag body, to which the gas is introduced from the inflator, has a sutured portion obtained by suturing a pair of end edges of the foundation clothes. The airbag body further has a protection cloth which is sutured to the pair of end edges along the sutured portion so that the protection cloth covers the sutured portion inside the airbag body.
