The device has a pump i.e. transmission oil pump, with a rotor (29) for conveying liquid, where the rotor is arranged on a pump shaft. The pump shaft is rotatably driven by a motor shaft of an electric motor i.e. brushless direct current motor (18), coaxially arranged coaxially to the pump shaft. The shafts are one-piece designed as a drive shaft (4). The drive shaft is rotatably supported in a region of the pump by two bearings, and carries the rotor of the electric motor enclosed by a stator (21) on a bearing region freely projecting into a region of the electric motor.
