The apparatus has a separating device arranged behind a vertex in a rotation direction of a roller (10a) and designed as an air jet (13) of an air duct (4), where the air jet is adjustable. The air jet is designed such that the air jet is directed towards a surface of the roller or a filter/felt band (2) behind the vertex. The air jet of the air duct is directly aligned with the vertex and aligned parallel for accumulating or running-off the filter/felt band. A collecting tray (7) and a water drain (6) are provided in the apparatus.
