A method for realizing the local IP access includes: obtaining the first information of a user equipment for realizing the local IP access; realizing the local IP access of the user equipment according to the first information. Meanwhile, a system for realizing the local IP access is also provided by the invention, which could be communicated with the user equipment. The system includes: a base station, which is used to obtain the first information of the user equipment for realizing the local IP access, and realize the local IP access of the user equipment according to the first information; a core network node, which is used to assist the base station to obtain the first information of the user equipment for realizing the local IP access.
