<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup device in which it can be suppressed that a focusing servo and a tracking servo are affected badly by return path light from a non-condensing recording layer. <P>SOLUTION: A reading light receiving region 24, a focusing light receiving region, and a tracking light receiving region are formed at a light receiving element 16 as a plurality of light receiving regions. A FES irradiation region 28 on which a light beam flux diffracted toward the focusing light receiving region out of the return light 18 from a non-condensing recording layer 22 is projected and the tracking light receiving region are formed at positions being different from each other. A TES irradiation region 32 on which a light beam flux diffracted toward the tracking light receiving region out of the return light 18 from a non-condensing recording layer 22 is projected and the focusing light receiving region are formed at positions being different from each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
