<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an OSD output device which further reduces an information amount required for font display than before. <P>SOLUTION: When a font code is input from a data decoding part 2, a display control part 3 reads processing content data corresponding to the font code from a processing content storage part 5, and when instruction information of performing rotating processing is included in the data, recognizes the coordinates of a rotation center, a rotation angle, an initial arrangement area and the data length of basic data, also reads the basic data of the data length corresponding to the font code from a basic data storage part 4, arranges the basic data in the initial arrangement area inside a font display area according to a predetermined rule to generate initial arrangement data, combines data duplicated by fixing the rotation center and rotating the initial arrangement data by the rotation angle and the initial arrangement data to generate font data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
