<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device that defines a margin region of an image under display and an image to be displayed next, determines an animation applied according to the margin region and a transition pattern, and executes an animation where the margin region is not highlighted by slide show display. <P>SOLUTION: The image display device includes an image display commanding section for receiving a next image display request and outputting an image display command, a timer control section for outputting the next image display request each predetermined time, an image data storage section for storing a plurality of images, an animation information storage section for storing an animation list, an image display control section for specifying the first and second images from the plurality of images according to the image display command, a margin region defining section for defining margin regions of the first and second images, a margin transition pattern determining section for determining a transition pattern from the margin regions of the first and second images, and an animation executing section for specifying an animation from the determined transition pattern and the animation list and executing it during image switching between the first and second images. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
