<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color information management analyzer for maintaining a color database for managing color attribute information, displaying the attribute information in a L*a*b* color system space, easily managing the attribute information, and visually obtaining a color characteristic. <P>SOLUTION: The color information management analyzer 1 comprises: a CPU 2 for controlling the entire of an apparatus; a monitor 6 for displaying the L*a*b* color system space 25; and a color data storage 13 for storing the color database 12. The CPU 2 forms a tentative color sphere 26T centered at a predetermined L*a*b* value in the L*a*b* color system space 25, and forms a color sphere 26 by a collection of L*a*b* values existing in the tentative color sphere 26T. The monitor 6 displays the L*a*b* color system space 25 and the color sphere 26.
