<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas purifying system and a control method of an exhaust gas purifying system capable of efficiently purifying NOx, in an operating condition of an internal combustion engine such that temperature of exhaust gas flowing into a nitrogen monoxide oxidation catalyst (NO oxidation catalyst) is in a low temperature zone of 150 to 200°C, utilizing carbon monoxide (CO) contained in exhaust gas. <P>SOLUTION: In an exhaust gas purifying system 1 provided with an ammonia system solution supply apparatus 5 and a selective reduction type catalyst 6 from the upstream side in an exhaust passage 3 of an internal combustion engine 2, a nitrogen monoxide oxidation catalyst 4 is provided on the upstream side of the ammonia system solution supply apparatus 5 of the exhaust passage 3, and a carbon monoxide amount increase control for increasing carbon monoxide contained in the exhaust gas flowing into the nitrogen monoxide oxidation catalyst 4 is performed, if an operating condition of the internal combustion engine 2 turns into a preset operating condition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
