PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a regulator for preventing a circuit connected to a post stage of the regulator from being broken due to variation in an output voltage caused by variation in the voltage of a noise reducing terminal. SOLUTION: When the voltage Vcn of the noise reducing terminal Cn is boosted to a predetermined voltage and more, a transistor M10 to be a driving transistor is turned off to restrict the rise of an output voltage Vout, so that the circuit connected to the post stage of the regulator 100 is prevented from being broken.
