PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interface circuit that detects whether or not data includes any errors while suppressing an increase in data volume. SOLUTION: The interface circuit includes a first output circuit for outputting to a storage circuit an input access signal adapted to change to one logic level or the other logic level for accessing the storage circuit, a second output circuit for outputting the access signal output from the first output circuit, and a comparison circuit for comparing the numbers of changes in the logic level of the access signal input into the first output circuit and in the logic level of the access signal output from the second output circuit since the input of at least part of the access signal into the first output circuit, and outputting a comparison signal indicating whether or not predetermined access based on the access signal input into the first output circuit has been performed.
