PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a client terminal cooperation system which can drive an application function matched with a user's desire in cooperation with an intended cooperative client terminal, and to provide a cooperation server apparatus, a client terminal, and a method for cooperating with the client terminal. SOLUTION: The cooperation server apparatus 105 manages the communication states of respective client terminals 101, 102 connected via a network 106 and the states of application functions driven on respective client terminals 101, 102. The cooperation server apparatus 105 presents a list of cooperative client terminal candidates communicating with the apparatus itself to a user. The user selects a cooperative client terminal from the list. When the state of the application function driven in the client terminal being used for the user is transferred to the selected cooperative client terminal, the application function can be cooperatively started by the cooperative client terminal selected by the user.
