<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electro-optical device which can surely prevent deterioration because of oxygen and moisture of a light emitting element by elongating a sealing part making the most of the fact that a translucent member such as a lens array or a translucent spacer is arranged to an element substrate, and to provide an exposure head and an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: In the element substrate 11 of the exposure head 10, a first substrate surface 11a on which organic EL elements 2 are prepared is directed to a side blocked by an end plate part 52 in a housing 5. In this state, a space between the element substrate 11 and an inner wall of a cylindrical body 51 of the housing 5 is sealed by a first sealing material 8a. An open end side (another end side of the cylindrical body 51) in the housing 5 is made a translucent member holding part 53 for holding the translucent member 4.
