<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save labor of an outsider to issue a card in an entrance/exit management system. <P>SOLUTION: An administrator registers user's personal data including biometric information without an expiration date in the registration area 110. A user receives biometric authentication in a shared area 120 and registers his/her ID card data with an expiration date in the personal data. The user receives card authentication at a dedicated area 130. A passage approving unit 144 authenticates the user as a registered user who has registered the ID card data, based on the ID card data read by an ID card data reader 131 and the personal data. A door control unit 145 unlocks an electronic lock 133 if the user is authenticated as a registered user and an expiration date of the ID card data has not come. If the expiration date of the ID card data has come, the user is supposed to newly register his/her ID card data, and receive biometric authentication again in the shared area 120. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
