PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ion distribution simulation method, an ion distribution simulation device, a computer program and a recording medium, allowing reduction of calculation man-hours and allowing obtaining of a high-accuracy simulation result of an ion distribution, by applying a laminar flow model while using fluid numerical analysis. SOLUTION: A flow field inside a room having specific size and shape is previously obtained in the fluid numerical analysis by a turbulence model using uneven meshes or the like, and the inside of a 1 m BOX in the neighborhood of an ion generation device is newly divided into even meshes, is replaced with an air velocity in the even meshes, and is stored as an initial condition. When obtaining the ion distribution diffused from the ion generation device into the room of a simulation target, distributions of the air velocity and air pressure inside the room are calculated by use of the Navier-Stokes equation by the laminar flow model with a previously stored air velocity distribution inside the 1 m BOX as the initial condition, and the ion distribution is calculated from the obtained distributions.
