PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information display that maintains a bright screen with high contrast, prevents degradation in the image quality due to changes in tones of the screen, and completely or mostly prevents a third party excluding the user from visually recognizing the information, and to provide a peep-preventing medium used for the display, and methods for manufacturing the display and the medium. SOLUTION: The peep-preventing medium includes layers of, from an observer's side, a translucent substrate, a fine irregular pattern layer, a transparent coating, an adhesive layer and a release sheet, and is characterized in that: the fine irregular pattern layer is formed of a translucent material; the pattern includes a plurality of recesses, protrusions or both, which are one-dimensionally or two-dimensionally arranged at a given period; the period of the pattern is from 200 nm to 500 nm; and the depth or height of the pattern with respect to the period length is half or more of the period.
