PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor capable of shortening the time required for a copy processing. SOLUTION: The image processor includes: a control part 9; and an operating system 102 which executes a processing for generating pause thread, a processing for making the priority of the pause thread higher as an elapsed time without being executed by the control part 9 becomes longer, and a processing for assigning the processing executed by the control part 9 to high-priority pause thread. The control part 9 executes a processing for generating the pause thread to the operating system 102 previously, and executes a processing for making the high-priority pause thread into image data readout thread so as to execute the image data readout thread when executing a copy processing.
