PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment for projecting an image with less influence of temperature. SOLUTION: The electronic equipment includes: a projection part 48 projecting an image including a gray area as a projection image; a storage part 42 storing a luminance value of the gray area as a reference luminance value; an imaging part 40 acquiring imaging data by imaging at least the gray area in the projection image when a predetermined time elapses after the start of projection by the projection part; a luminance value acquiring part 32 acquiring the luminance value of the imaged gray area based on the imaging data; a comparison part 50 comparing the reference luminance value stored in the storage part with the luminance value of the gray area acquired from the imaging data; and an image processing part 44 adjusting luminance on image data of the image projected by the projection part based on a result of comparison by the comparison part.
