PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light receiving device for a range finder, for calibrating a measurement error or the like caused by an object's own factor by coping with the error. SOLUTION: A range finder 1A includes a light projector 10, a light receiving device 20A and a control part 30A. The light receiving device 20A includes: a light receiving portion 21, a pulse current generation portion 22, a current-voltage conversion portion 23, a peak point detection portion 24, a reference timing generation portion 25, a timing detection portion 26, a count portion 27 and a calibrating portion 28A. The calibrating portion 28A calibrates the time obtained by the count portion 27 when a pulse current output from the light receiving portion 21 receiving reflected light is input into the current-voltage conversion portion 23, based on calibration information of the time obtained by the count portion 27 when a peak point I or delay time T is adjusted from the pulse current generation portion 22 and an output pulse current is input into the current-voltage conversion portion 23 and a peak point obtained by the peak point detection portion 24.
