PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a metal product which can strongly join a plurality of metal components to improve the flexibility of the structural dimension and to reduce labor and cost. SOLUTION: A first metal component 11, a second metal component 12, and a third metal component 13 are provided. The first metal component 11 is cylindrical, has a spindle-shaped inclined inner surface 11b, and enlarges an opening at one end in an axial line direction toward the end. The second metal component 12 is in a shaft shape and can be disposed on the inner side of the first metal component 11. The third metal component 13 is cylindrical and has a spindle-shaped inclined outer surface 13a that is inclined in the same direction as the inclined inner surface, has a smaller inclination angleϕthan an inclination angleθof the inclined inner surface, has a crossing shape similar to a shape of crossing with a plane perpendicular to the axial line direction of the inclined inner surface, and has other side end having a larger outer shape than other side end of the inclined inner surface. The third metal component 13 is inserted into a space between the first metal component 11 and the second metal component 12 through the opening in the first metal component 11. Pressing in the axial direction is performed to cause plastic deformation to join while pressing the inclined outer surface in an axial direction and abuting on the inclined inner surface in an axial direction.
